<p dir="ltr">I am really sorry I missed the big launch. I had a good day with 44 boyscouts and we launched somewhere north of 100 rockets (I ran out if flight cards).</p>
<p dir="ltr">A few interesting flights but no injuries. I think we lost 2 rockets on the school roof and one kid had to bring his rtf Estes rocket with a parachute and fly it on a C motor. It was long gone.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I want to thank everyone for helping out at the KTU launch. You were each a critical part of a big team effort. I really wish I could have been there.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Thank you all for building on the fantastic history of NRVR outreach. It is great people like you who will inspire and encourage the future generations of scientists, engineers, explorers and dreamers.</p>

<p>Our assembly/prep line consisted of three 8ft kid tables for stuffing motors, another the tables run by VT-Rocketry that did the igniter and chute stuffing, and then our RSO check-in tables at the launch tent. It went surprisingly smooth up until the end
where we (the check-ins) were the bottleneck from the last big group of kids who flooded in.. but this was to be expected... and those waiting to get checked in had a first row seat to watch the 10 rocket drag races. Which were "Really cool" (in a good way

<p>I just mainly did running around for the first quarter of the event helping fill in gaps and fix problems. About an hour in though, I saw that we needed to fix some of the large % of rocket mis-builds (that was fun).</p>

<p>But we really want to thank the NRVR Volunteers below who actually did most of the grunt work and helped us plow through nearly 200 rocket launches!!!<br>
